Catedral de la Natividad de Nuestra Señora
It was built on the old mosque, located in the Plaza de Santa Maria.
It is a beautiful temple of XVI century Renaissance style (although the lower body of the minaret tower dates from the eleventh century). It was declared of Cultural Interest in 1931.

Jabalquinto Palace
Today is the International Headquarters of the Universidad Antonio Machado.

Lions Fountain

Santa Maria Fountain

Puerta de Jaén
It was one of the best fortified gates of the city walls. Although it was dismantled by order of Elizabeth I in 1476 (16 years before the conquest of the last stronghold of the Kingdom of Granada) remains one of the three original arches and a watchtower in front of which can still be spotted outside a beautiful shield of Kings Catholics.
At present it has raised a memorial statue of the Society of the Two Hundred Ballesteros of St. James, who defended the city in the same tower.
